I am a Senior Lecturer in Law and Director of the Julius Stone Institute of Jurisprudence at the University of Sydney Law School. I completed my PhD at the Faculty of Law, University of Cambridge. I also hold an LLM (McGill) and LLB (Queen’s), and BA(Hons) in Mathematics and Philosophy (Queen’s).

In 2017-18 I was elected the Smuts Research Fellow in Commonwealth Studies at the University of Cambridge. Before that I was a McKenzie Fellow at Melbourne Law School, an Endeavour Fellow at UNSW.

I have also worked as a constitutional law expert at the Dullah Omar Institute in Cape Town, the Fiji Constitution Commission and elsewhere.
